Full name, Darryl Francis Zanuck; born September 5, 1902, in Wahoo, NE; diedof pneumonia, December 22, 1979, in Palm Springs, CA; son of Frank (a hotel clerk) and Liouse (Torpin) Zanuck; married Virginia Fox, January 12, 1924 (divorced); children: Darrylin, Susan Marie, Richard Darryl (a film producer).
