Stefan Schnabel specialized in playing European rolessuch as military officers and teachers. The actor worked on the stage and infilm and television. He was also known for his role as a doctor in the soapopera Guiding Light--a role that he held for seventeen years. The actor was born in Germany to performing artist parents. He came to the United States in 1938 and worked on radio programs and on the stage. Later in his lifehe and his wife (also an actress) founded the Rainbow Theater in Connecticut.Credits include Social Security(Broadway production, 1986-1987), The Price(stage, 1988), and Feiren Mit Silvester(film, 1990).
